Tom O’Gorman was born and raised in South London, where he discovered his passion for dance through his experience as a competitive fencer. During his time at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, Tom worked with choreographers Christopher Bruce, Thick and Tight, Darren Ellis and Anthony Taylor. After graduating, Tom joined the postgraduate company at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, VERVE, working with and performing pieces by Botis Seva, Matthew Robinson, Caroline Finn and Barnaby Booth. Upon leaving the company, Tom has been freelancing as a dancer, notably working with Jodie Blemmings, Luke Brown Company, Casson and Friends and previously a guest artist for Yorke Dance Project. Tom is a lover of music, video games and anime, and has recently picked up a sword and rekindled his love for fencing.
