COMPANY AUDITIONS
Jack Philp Dance is a contemporary dance company creating physical dance work with collaboration at the core. We want to enthuse and excite audiences about the world around us and share our love and fascination with research and digital technologies. Directed by choreographer Jack Philp, the company are looking for dancers to join the creation of a new full length production; Into the Novacene. We are looking for dancers who know and understand themselves as people and artists, individuals who will contribute confidently to the process and those who will bring a distinctive physicality. We are seeking inquisitive minds, charismatic movers, courageous improvisers and artists with a strong, well developed, and accomplished technical practice. 

COntract start date: 12th june 2023

The project will involve 5 weeks of creation during the following dates with a likely extension into autumn for touring, funding TBC. Dancers must be available for all of the dates below without exception:
W/C 12th June 2023
W/C 19th June 2023
W/C 26th June 2023
W/C 10th July 2023
W/C 17th July 2023

Auditions will be held at the Dance House, Cardiff, Wales

FEE

£550 per week in addition to travel, accommodation and per diems.

Dancers must be UK based. Please send a link to your showreel which includes footage of you improvising. Links must be via youtube or vimeo and passwords should be given where necessary. Showreels attached as a file to an email will not be accepted. Please send this along with an updated CV and headshot to applications@jackphilpdance.co.uk
